Then fiberglass resin everything, smooth it out with bondo, sand and spray paint. might cost up to $150

I don't know if I would want to do that, though. It would definitely be a fun project, but I'm on a budget. Plus, they have floating foam tables for $80. I'm willing to spend $100 just for the fun time I'd have making it, but not $150.

That would probably work the best. That's foam.

Anyone know the cost of Plexiglas?

Think about this set up, but not as serious. I could definitely work with the PVC

its a time consumer more than anything. $150 is depending on how big.

Assuming you need two sheet of wood, $40 tops, great stuff $10, gallon of resin $40, amount of bondo depends on size and how unsmooth it is, but can be another $20-40, then just paint. labor would be the biggest factor, youd have a few hours into it.

As far as plexiglass, check out McMaster Carr, you can get any dimension you want

Even if you don't go all the way with what NYC is saying, you need to seal the board with some kind of resin if you don't want it to warp all the frick up after the first use. Can of resin and a brush is like 20 bucks.

Yeah I would definitely use some resin on it. I want it to longer than 1 summer.

I like the idea of PVC and plexiglas more and more though

I like your creativity of wanting to build your own, I have a inflatable one that's been on my closet for years.

We once used a regular 6 ft plastic table from Sam's. Took off all the legs and put plumbers putty in all the holes. We did it on the fly and it worked for the most part. You could use something better to plug the holes and I don't see why it wouldn't work. Tables are about 50 bucks at Sam's.

Plexiglas and PVC looks like an awesome and easy way to do it, but I like the idea of the cups having a divot to sit in.

grosses me out when you see people play near a bathroom and the ball rolls where everyone is exiting said bathroom.

True, and I'm sure it would be a pain in the arse to save some of the plexiglas off to make small inserts for the cups.

I guess drinking alone in a dimly lit bar is just not good enough for you kids these days! Jebus, the entitlement mentality is really too much and everything is a fricking game.
