Cancel culture is a demand for something or someone to be overtly removed from the marketplace. Or "canceled", unless their demands are met. I don't think many are demanding Bud Light no longer be sold, or removed from the marketplace by means of a threat. They are just choosing to no longer purchase it.

I am not saying Bud Light didn't do that. They most certainly did abandon their loyal fan base to join the woke crowd. The hypocrisy here is everyone being so butt hurt you are whining like a bunch of liberals, too. Which is fine but don't bash liberals when they want your chicken sandwich to be banned.

dunno man... seems like those "shoot the Bud products" videos that came out right after the Mulvaney news were just a little more than "hey guys, i'm not drinking Bud Light anymore, okay..."

No one said bud light should be banned. Everyone is laughing at them for becoming a meme and to have sales that continue to fail.

The right isn’t flipping over bud light trucks and burning them or stores that carry them.

No one is saying to ban bud light.

That's the distinction. I don't recall seeing many on here demanding Bud Light be banned.

One group is simply choosing to not purchase the product. The other is demanding the product cease to exist.

You’re still missing the point. No one wants Bud Light banned. But people are deciding that they aren’t going to support them anymore with their money. When the left tried to boycott Chick Fil A, I ate there more (am fat). The alphabet group is more than welcome to show their support and boost BL’s sales right back up. We’ll see who the silent majority really is.

Are you really saying that people should still buy from a company they don’t want to, just to avoid “hypocrisy?”

Just because you want it to be the same doesn’t mean it is.

you STILL ain't getting it... it's not the boycotting, or rejecting a product, or choosing to spend your money on something else, etc...

it's the constantly bringing up the fact that you are doing that, months after the fact, in a self-righteous, look at me way, much like far left leaning liberals do... THAT'S the hypocrisy that you are failing to see here

I don't expect many people on here to get it. Most people can't see past their opinion and will justify their stance no matter what. That's fine. Just admit that shooting bud light cans in videos is the same as protesting in the street. Both are voicing opinions.

Yep one group screams and wants the gov to ban a product.

The other just doesn’t purchase it and then makes fun of those that do drink it.

One isn’t close to the other no matter how much the liberal trans want it to be.

They were either destroying whatever BL product they had. Or, I guess, purchasing BL and destroying. However, I don't recall many (if any) people showing up at BL breweries demanding the product stop being produced.

On the other hand.....

Liberals sees someone eating at CFA, “haha look at that Christian. What a loser”.

Conservatives sees someone drinking BL “haha look at that trans lover. What an idiot”.

This is how the scenario plays out right?

The answer is it doesn’t. One side needs government help to get their way. The other just uses their wallet.

Lol shooting cans on private property that were bought is not the same as protesting on a public street, demanding gov action to ban something and then burning down stores.

No one on the right is attacking liberal trans that walk out of a liquor store with a case of Bud light, no one is walking around the liquor store with a gun trying to intimidate people.

A few videos disposing of old product that was bought and then making fun of friends that might still consume trans juice is all that has happened.
