This. I wonder how many dipshit rednecks switched to Michelob thinking they were really sticking one to the man?

Corporate conglomeratization makes it really hard to "stick it to the man".

All of these businesses are lumped under a giant umbrella where risk/reward are pooled. Entertainment, finance, commodities...everything.

Bud Light is part of InBev's corporate ledger and it's probably 1% of their revenue stream when you factor in all of their other international holdings.

That being said, a clear message was still sent and received.

Yep, as is Modelo,

I don’t think AB-InBev has distro rights for Modelo in the US but they still make money on each can sold. Busch Light is better anyway.

Yuengling would be #1 if it was available nationwide.

Not really the case here. I was able to find all of the beers under the AB/InBev umbrella in about thirty seconds. Most of the rednecks gave it lip service without giving any effort.

Everyone I know drinks the Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, Ultra or Abita, maybe some Micro Brewery brands.

I have never met or known anyone to drink Modelo

Especially since it tastes only slightly less shitty, but if they actually like budlight it makes sense I guess.

It sure as hell tastes better than the Bud, Miller, Coors “domestic” beers.
