Agreed. Real change needs to start within Islam. You have these countries where the leaders would rather buy 24k toilets than improve the lives of the people in their countries. They are poor, uneducated, easily manipulated, and that is how gov't and religious leaders hold on to their power. These people are looking for any way out of their situation. Someone comes along with crazy promises that they are incapable of questioning whether it is real or not. They are told by their leaders to blame the west for their problems and they do so without question. Modern, educated muslims need to stand up for change within their ranks. Until they strive to elevate their people, until they learn to love their kids more than they hate us, this problem will persist.

Believe what you want. We are exponentially more stringent in refugee screening/vetting than European countries.

That's all I'm saying - that's the HIGHEST screening we do, reportedly, for new arrivials, unless, of course, there going to get cleared to work with classified information.
And, if they failed that badly, I've no confidence in anything the national security apparatus has to say on the subject until an independent review and audit is completed and the fix to that problem is determined and implemented.
But, some of you open borders folks don't understand that very legitimate concern.

No one will claim our vetting process is infallible or our borders impenetrable. But it's sure as shite better than many or all European countries, which I think is the only point trying to be made.

That's the most difficult problem the world is facing in a long time. It's like cancer. We can't just bomb the hell out of them, though it may be effective to knock them back. We have to figure out a way to destroy the ideology so that it won't spread like it has.

Destroy the ideology that is at the core of the faith? That the faith must be exported at the point of the sword? That non-believers must convert or die?
I mean other than killing all of them, how do you "destroy" that ideology? Hugs and kisses ain't working, baw.
