Every COO in corporate America between 40-60 years old has a pair of those bad boys. Perfect for the company retreat or when you're meeting with the start ups.

And they all look ridiculous.

I get wanting the comfort, I just don't really understand the white sole when there are options that don't look like tennis shoes.

I don't like the white soles either. I have hard time finding a pair business casual shoes that don't look like Chuck Taylors.

Does anyone own a pair of Amberjacks? I like these.

Allen Edmonds makes some good ones.

Check out their Walnut Strand and Chili Park Avenue sneakers.

They are also recraftable. Big difference.

If you don’t like these shoes, you probably wear Crocs with socks.

Get some Cole Haans baw. I have gone through multiple pairs and they are hands down the best. They always have deals on amazon. I wear them to work everyday (I walk a ton but have to wear business casual). You cant go wrong with them.

I have a pair of Greats Royale that I'll wear with anything from blazer/slacks to jeans.

They almost look too clean out the box but after some wear, the leather settles in and the white fades a bit.

They can be done so long as it's not the awful white sole

They really can't. It makes you look like you're too old to wear normal shoes. You should only wear them if you're pushing 80 and having issues walking.

That and sneakers with suits that look like one size too small.

This can only be done by athletes who are wearing $500 and up tennis shoes.
