Boxers break in my right hand.. Thank god the bones didn't twist and didn't require surgery as they were able set them.. Honestly I've broken some things and torn some things but that little bone was the most fricking painful.. I've heard good things about Doc Ahmed to answer your question

Went today to Thad Broussard, complete break in one place and 2 additional separate fractures. Go back in 3 weeks to see about getting a plate put in if it heals incorrectly, should be fun

I did not need surgery as everything healed aligned correctly. There is a risk that a finger rotates and heals crooked. The only real issue that I have now is you can see a bump on the top of my hand which is a calcium deposit and according to the doctor it's only cosmetic if there is no other discomfort.
