Not true. I can't even tell if mine is on unless the house is completely silent.

I often have to walk over to it to check if the signal light is on/hear it running.

My one before this you absolutely knew, but if you get one with the low decibel rating it's quiet.

still prefer the crushed red velvet wallpaper popularized in brothels.

My sister is a realtor in Austin. She says the biggest complaint right now (other than housing market) is everyone regretting the open floor plans that look great but offer no privacy or sequestration.

Complaints range from never being able to keep it clean all the time, too much noise, smells from the kitchen area, a pain when cooking and kids get in the way, can’t change up decor because it all has to match, etc

However, that doesn’t stop them from bragging about the open floor plan on their listings, and pawning it off on the next owners!

We have wallpaper in our laundry room. It is a timeless pattern so it stays.

90s wallpaper? We spent the 90s tearing down wallpaper from the 70s & 80s.

All grey driftwood ceramic tile throughout the entire house, grey walls, minimalist. 10' ceilings, very open. No kids or pets, and guests feel very secluded on their side. So easy to clean, socialize while cooking with mfiwd. Have a study in the front of the home, so there is an escape.

At my first house I owned, a condo in Baton Rouge, there was 2 layers of wallpaper in the "master" bathroom vanity. I HATED it. I tried to take to down, steamer, glue remover, nothing worked. So being 24 years old, I bought paint with sand in it to cover it.
