Who can downvote this? It’s exactly what happened. There would be no war if Blinken didn’t go to Kiev and basically say we are going to fast track Ukraine in to NATO.

ETA: We should have withdrawn from NATO when the USSR collapsed. Let Europe police Europe. Ukraine is trying its best to draw us in to a shooting war with a nuclear power. Russia sees this as an existential war, do we?
