Why wear your dress blues if you aren’t the one being married or the groom isn’t a Marine? At the same time, she looks like a total bitch kicking him out. He’s in his dress blues. So what? Now they won’t remember how beautiful you looked in your dress or how much fun the wedding was. They will remember how you kicked a guy out because he was dressed in a uniform.

Yeah the post that said everyone sucks is spot on.

Wearing formal military wear at formal civilian events is allowed per regulations (Army is AR 670-1, no clue for marines), but you have to be a special kind of a--h--- to wear it to a non-military wedding without specific permission of the couple.
Meh, maybe he didn’t own a suit? Back in the day military guys wore their dress uniforms to weddings all the time because suits were expensive. It’s really not out of place.

Even if it is weird this is a huuuuuuge red flag for the groom. That bitch is a narcissistic psycho who is going to ruin his life.

I agree with you. People seem to expect a woman to think logically on their wedding day and military men to not be arrogant...So I’m not shocked at the outcome

So the guy trying to outdo the woman gets a pass?
Yes, because there’s a 100% chance that the thought “Hmmm, what can I wear to outshine the bride?” never went through his head. He was just a young dude who wore his nicest outfit probably thinking more about the pussy it would get him more than he was anything else.

I’d wear civvies to a civilian wedding, unless it’s my family... that said, she’s a little unhinged for getting upset about it....

Sounds like a young pvt that didn't own a suit and didn't know any better. I wouldn't have done it but I wouldn't have kicked him out or made a big deal out of it.

does seem weird to show up in a military uniform to a regular wedding. Nothing against military but that’s a bit much unless it’s military folks getting married who want that.

It’s formal wear.

Can’t help it if other people are attracted to a uniform.

If the dude was in a well trailer suit and not some off the rack deal, would it be a big deal? Chick is a c-unit.

ETA it was also a 300 person wedding. Not some small wedding with 50 people where I could understand it maybe being a distraction; but in a sea of 300people? Nope.

The thought of outdoing a bride on her wedding day is a foreign concept to me first of all.

Women have tried it for decades. Guys don't give a shite.

Secondly, I’ve always thought it was pretty common for active duty personnel to wear their dress uniform to formal occasions like weddings. Maybe things have changed?

I've never seen it. We wouldn't have had a problem with it at our wedding. This lady is for sure a cùnt, but I still think it's weird when the wedding isn't between people in the military.

When I was nineteen and in the U S Navy, all I had was my dress uniform. I didn’t own a suit. Maybe that was the nicest thing he had to wear.
Anyway frick that bitch!

I’ve been a groomsman in 22 weddings since 2002 and have never seen a military uniform at one

I said her same thing basically. Course I’m an old fart like you and apparently things have changed.

Guess it’s more of the blending of the genders we see more and more of as time goes by. Use to be that women only worried that another woman might outdo their outfit. Now it’s spread to worrying about what we wear now as well.

How many weddings have you been to that many active duty dudes would have been able to attend anyway?
