This runs contrary to my interactions with Marines. I've found you guys to be very confident when saying dumb shite.
I've grown up a lot, but I'm still the biggest kid there is. Like I said before, I know my shite, I know how to be an adult, but many on here don't see that. My postings on other boards is my sick twisted humor, for those who interact with me, they should know that by now. I'm not going to not call someone out though when they sound ridiculous and act like an idiot to where it reflects on other military/vets.
The United States doesn't need a Marine Corps, but they want one. If Marines act full crayon eater all the time towards others, it puts negative cast on Marines and the Marine Corps. I'm very proud of my service and being third generation Marine. My Dad, his mom, and his dad were Marines.

Why would I lie about that
Why did you laugh after saying that?
You don't know where medals go on blues
You got busted down
And just other things that you have said.
I could get our of bed, get my wallet out, take a picture of my ID from 2016 (minus my face) and have it say SSgt right now. Do you have anything to back it up that you could write your screen name by?
Like I said, I'm confident in my abilities.
And yes I still have my military ID in my wallet after being out almost 3 years

Youre fine brother. Another thing I find funny is that guy immediately downvotes me after countering him
That right there shows some insecurities.

I don’t have a Marine Corps ID anymore. I guess I could take a pic of the old dress blues I have in the closet that have SSgt ranks on the sleeve

You said previously that most don't know how to make medals look good. You literally take them to a px or clothing store and pay or have someone do it. And it's not expensive as you say. It's more of a nuisance to spend the money for one time a year - that would have been more acceptable for you to say.

so? Lots of people get busted down for stupid Libo shite. It’s not unheard of by any stretch.
It is hard to get promoted to Staff with an NJP.
I don't care if you prove it or not honestly, I'm just correcting you on your silly posts.
You keep downvoting because you're upset I'm calling your shite out.

Why?

They did give rank out like candy during OIF. But how you just said it still gives me that vibe that you aren't truthful.
Where is your promotion warrant to SSgt? You seem so proud it should be next to you right now under your DD214 blanket.
Mine is on my " I love me shelf " with a lot of my Marine Corps things from Pvt-SSgt.

No explain why you think I’m lying by how I posted it. It doesn’t make any sense.

Yeah for most, but this motivator spewing rah rah shite at this time would definitely not have it boxed up.
I initially replied because he was acting like he was better than others because he's a Marine. Generally, like I said, I wouldn't mind, but he's said some ignorant shite itt.

It makes tons of sense of my saying they gave it out like candy because during OIF people were getting promoted to Staff in like 6 years which was ridiculous. Cutting scores for junior Marines like it was cool during the same time. This was 06-08. Bonuses were huge too.
It wasn't because they needed Staff Sergeants but because of the recruiting mission to up the Marine Corps from 170,000 to 225,000 for the wars. Attaining new accessions at the junior level opened up more selection of SNCOs. It wasn't because they needed them in the way you said.
Go figure you can't explain that though.
Posted on 3/27/19 at 12:28 am to momentoftruth87
You’re the one claiming to have an “I love me” wall and holding onto your ID three years after you got out and I’m the motivator?
Hell dude I’ve admitted to being busted down from LCpl to PFC and not bothering to get my medals boarded. If you want to know the real truth I have two NJPs. One of them AS as SSgt. My Marine Corps career was much like my TD career as described in my sig quote, stellar posting interspersed with a lot of DGAFness.
