Historically, "fat shaming" is a recent phenomenon

Throughout most history fat was considered desirable. Just like suntans meant you labored outside (the same class bias that gave us the term "redneck"), being thin meant you probably couldn't afford a lot of food.

It was only after the radical value shifts of WWI that thinness and suntans began to be looked at as attractive.

The human body is a machine.

Some machines do not work as well as others, and have a natural fat disposition... but all human machines work the same. Put the proper food in your body, and expend the proper amount of energy.

Some people have a much easier time with this equation.... oh fricking well, suck it up, fat buttercup....life is not fair, remember when people use to say that??????

Yeah, I totally agree you can’t fault truth. So let’s all tell the truth about things like-Alton Sterling was a career criminal who didn’t listen to authority, pulled a gun and hit shot and killed for being a thug. Or what about how Liberal Democrats really do not care about the poor Mexicans crossing the border for a “better life”, they only care about 30 million new votes ? Sure I could think of many more “truths” we need to allow to be stated.
And no- don’t have a fatty around and I’m 185 at 50 years old. Seriously - I’d like to call a spade a spade and do away with the PC culture ruining our lives.
