Yep sounds like a guy who thinks because he served a few years in the military and is a cop that he can treat people like shite and when they respond accordingly he's a victim.
Doubt it is a race / cop / veteran thing....probably just minimum wage employees who don't care about their jobs thinking frick this guy for being rude.

You must have missed the top 10 things Steven Albritton is going to miss about Louisiana this morning. It was some hard hitting journalism.
I just watch for Tracy Wirtz.

Sounds like he was a douche and got treated like a douche.
Yea but if the employees were doing their job, here wouldn't have become a douche

For all we know, the employees were cleaning or restocking in the back. I know what the odds are on this one but the point remains that they may have been working.

They very well could have been doing their job though like inventory, receiving a shipment, trouble shooting or any other number of tasks it sounds like this guys a dick and was in a hurry to be shitting projectile liquid ASAP

Probably short handed. There was a big turkey give away at Boozies.

Their number one job is to greet and serve the customer. The inventory ain't going anywhere.

Update: The owner Greg Hamer has taken care of this problem. He made it clear this behavior is not tolerated by his company. He apologized profusely. Again, this was not for anyone to boycott Taco Bell. Just to reprimand the few employees involved. I thank Mr. Greg for handling this quickly and respectfully.
Y'all. I'm appalled. Taco Bell in Breaux Bridge just refused service to my parents for no apparent reason. The only thing I can figure is he is a cop and/or because he was wearing his veteran hat. Either way, it's ridiculous. I can understand if he was being rude but they were in the middle of placing their order and the cashier left. She came back with a manager and said "we have the right to refuse your service, sir." They just lost a LOT of business!

Doesn't mean they weren't working and we should deflect from the fact, according to this article, that he was being an arse.

Customers can be dicks. Sometimes employees have to handle dicks in the proper way. Ultimately, this is on the employees.

That particular Taco Bell makes the smallest burritos of any Taco Bell that I've been to. Granted, I'm not a big fast food eater, but I've stopped there passing through either going to or coming from LSU games. Other Taco Bell's, either in Baton Rouge or Lafayette usually give me these big old plump burritos, but that one barely gives me anything.
That being said, it's really hard to take the guy's side in this story. Seems phony

I'm not sure being able to cite the sizes at individual Taco Bell's across the state would classify you as not a big fast food eater.

Cop/veteran
Being from a small town in Louisiana myself, I know the type all too well. He's just pissed off he makes $27K/year and his wife is either getting railed by some HS baw, or, more likely, is already a disgusting fat body and his kids are dumbasses.
