Big pharma can still make bank on cures
They found a cure for chronic hep C and charge 100k for it. Which is well worth it to insurance companies because long term complications from Hep C will cost much much more

As a side note, if you haven’t seen “Lorenzo’s Oil”, it’s a very good movie dealing with the loss of myelin. Nick Nolte is in it and plays the father of Lorenzo. Based on a true story.

I haven't recovered from the nerve damage in left leg from the herniated discs. Most of my leg and foot are numb.
