Actually it's not. BR has some beautiful old neighborhoods and great parks. NOLA has more to offer from an entertainment standpoint, but I'd never live there.

BR City Park, Garden District, and college town.
I should have been more specific--BR has the LSU campus and immediate area; the rest is miles of suburban sprawl.
