LSU needs to fire Angela and the dumbasses she has working in the Greek Life office. She was horrible when I was there and the people she hired mirrored that. Instead, LSU will ignore that she's useless and will just tack on more ridiculous policies.

They want your tuition and student fees. But they don’t want you to have any freedom on the rare chance some dummies kill someone or cause property damage. It’s a power grab by universities. It’s happening at FSU and other school too.

This is one of the dumbest statements I've read in a while. You my good sir do not have the slightest clue to what you are talking about. Even worse was that there are six other individuals on here who believed it.

On a separate note some of the individual frats have already implemented this policy. Kappa Sig is one of those. And the cost of the drug test is put into the individual's fraternity dues.

You're uninformed. If you can test positive for marijuana you are still high and therefore intoxicated.

yeah that'll work out great when 80% test positive for weed and roughly half for coke. At least for the guys.

The entire campus would be about 80% for some type of drugs.

Drug usage is not a Greek issue, it is a campus issue.

And I bet everyone that has been screened, miraculously, passed.

Yeah, you can also test positive up to two weeks later, and almost always test positive up to a week later. So either a bunch of states have legalized a drug that keeps you high for a week,or your statement is wrong.

If you smoke marijuana and are worried about a drug screen, you're supposed to do cocaine. The upper and downer cancel each other.

Exactly. If you don't Uber for those two weeks you deserve a DUI.

Actually, no. Those who can't pass resign from the chapter. Lambda Chi and Sigma Chi lose most of their members when faced with a drug test. Only the few who could pass stayed behind.

No your statement is wrong. After smoking you can test positive for a month. So you are intoxicated. The drug is in your bloodstream

Being in a frat is not a job. Being a college student is not a job. Haven't read the whole thread, but has anybody brought up how illegal it would be to drug screen college students? Especially at a public university? LSU would be sued out of existence the first minute they tried to implement this.
