Actually, those people that sell CDs at the gas station are annoying and bothersome as frick.

Flying into MSY is only like $20 cheaper than flying into BR. (PHX to MSY is $370; PHX to BR is $390). Not worth it when rental car prices are much higher out of MSY and the drive and all.

I've been flying back and forth from PHX to BR for over 10 years now to visit my parents. It's always the same thing....cheaper flights to NOLA....but rental cars are more expensive so you don't really save much money in the long run.
Granted...I haven't come back to LA since 2014 so maybe it has changed since then. But every time I visit I always check the flights and rental car prices out of NOLA to see if I'll save money that route.
