Anyone feel the mosquitos and flies have been worse this year?

There used to be a truck that'd drive by nightly to spray the streets. Haven't seen or heard this truck this year.

The BR mosquito abatement website mentions a plane that sprays the city. Again haven't seen or heard this plane.

You can call the parish office and they will spray your property. I think they will do it every month if you keep calling.

Plane flew over my house a few days ago. I’m in the flight path and have felt it before.

I find they are much less lately due to the cold winter.

I noticed last year that the Luftwaffe (that’s what I call the mosquito plane) came by less frequently than previous years in St. Tammany. I haven’t heard it at all so far this year, but I think it’s still early.
