Yeah, but not the same as 20 years ago. Used to go with co-workers for the AYCE ribs for 8.00. They were awesome. They still have the AYCE ribs but they are a lot smaller now and not nearly as good.

Anyone remember Harold’s Fried Chicken? That was my grandpa’s restaurant. Had one on campus with a porcelain LSU tiger in a cage.

Their original location is still open. One of my favorite lunch spots. They are on Scenic Hwy.

I remember eating there as a kid a good bit.

I also remember going later in life under the influence of psychedelic drugs and standing awkwardly on the side because I dance like Urkel

Del Lago - dinner & dance place on/near Bennington
Poet’s - College Dr. where Wal Mart is now
Quick & Handy - Nicholson Dr.
