Riding it out in Walker. Usually don’t get too worked up but this one has me pretty nervous. Too many animals to leave though. Fingers crossed

Same, but don't worry about it. If the soffit blows out the wind will pressurize the whole attic space and the roof will explode right off your house.

I live off of Goodwood and I am riding it out. My first hurricane so I hope I don’t regret this.

You probably will. Few more under your belt and you get use to it by those first few in this heat suck swamp balls.

I guess we’re staying. 3 miles as the crow flies from the eye in Tiger Stadium. Not really excited about it.

Got a Generator with 15 gallons of gas on standby.

In-laws have a Nat-Gas Generac and are nearby if we need them.

For any resident of Brookstown, a Cat 3 hurricane up your arse is only about 3rd or 4th on you list of things to be worried about...

I am. Never considered leaving.

I'm not too worried. Just mostly concerned about the shed's roof coming off. I plan to tie it down tomorrow morning.

And I'm not looking forward to cleaning up the yard and the almost certain power outage.

If this thing makes landfall at a strong CAT 4, we fricked.
