You aren’t supposed to try those as adults.
. Why not?
Liberals think anyone under 18 lacks the brain development to understand that beating someone to death and burning the body is wrong.

The USSC ruled that mandatory life sentences for minors tried as adults was unconstitutional a few years back. I'm sure that played a part in this.
Those of you who grew up in Driftwood probably remember the Wheat murder. Matt Pineda is still in prison for that. There have been several articles in the paper over the years about him. He been a model inmate, found God, educated himself, etc. Meanwhile, ~35 years later, the guy is still in prison.

You have 100% confirmation that Andrew comes from money? Your sauces must be idiots because that’s 100% false. Have known Andrew and his dad Mark for 20+ years and they are decent people. Never asked Mark what he knew and never will but it pained him terribly that his child took another’s life. Yes prison should be punishment but if you can punish and rehabilitate also I am good with that.
His dad worked in the oilfield so he wasn't poor, not sure if they come from money. Regardless, the psychopath killed a girl and burned her body. He took someone's child from them and denied the girl her life. Under no circumstance should someone that murders someone else be allowed back into society. That's not shite that decent people do.

I'm against the death penalty but murder should automatically be life without parole.

I think he deserves to be burned like his victim.

Yep, there was a famous case in FL back in the late 90s when a 12 year old beat the shite out of a 6 year old girl and tried to claim it was an accident from mimicking WWF moves. He originally got life without parole but got out on probation in 2005 (just 4 years after sentencing). Of course the POS couldn't help himself and is back in prison for the next 30 years over armed robbery.

Which is complete horseshite and wasn't the case until about 10-15 years ago.
