The Military justice system is going to cook this guy. I have no idea what the truth to this story is, whether he is indeed a traitor or a scapegoat. I think they will take their time and let the story die down, before preferring charges.

You haven't heard a thing from him, you won't hear a thing from him, you won't hear of anything happening to him.
This would be a disaster for the president if bowe were found guilty of anything. This will just all go away quietly.

You can take all the political BS out of the equation. ALL the guys in his unit said he deserted his post & put his searchers at risk. Those soldiers speak the truth as they would have no reason to try & nail his arse if he did not desert; just the opposite, they would be backing a fellow soldier. Now that he's on active duty, he'll be back in a barracks situation amongst fellow soldiers & that will be when he gets his arse in a serious crack.
