BodySpace members who call the Bayou home averaged just less than 224 pounds, showing that for some of us, "down south" means going below parallel.
Weak shite right there.
..and you enter your own weights in body space so I bet, like other things, it's an exaggeration for most.

Have you studied the proper form yet? That is what sent me over 315. Close grip bench press, dips, and proper form will make 315 seem like it was too easy.
eta: also when you are lowering the weight down to your chest, use your lats.

Just don't like doing the exercise. I have no reason to do it. I used to only do squats on a machine b/c of a bum knee. Now, I do it with medium weight on the bar. Depending on how my knee is feeling I still go to the squat machine.
A few weeks ago I saw a guy squatting 725 lbs. There was so much weight on the bar it was bending. I, along with others in the gym, was saying this guy was crazy to be lifting so much weight. He had three spotters but what the hell will the spotters with 725 lbs if the guy knees give out??

Yeah, I'm on the path. Around last xmas my PB was 245. Now I'm at 300. I just plateued in the last month or so.
At only 180 in bodyweight, my wrists/elbows/shoulders give out before my muscles do...
