Gonna be hard to explain to your wife why she's gotta take penicillin for your kidney infection, so good luck with that.

Did you have a blood clot somewhere? That antibody can be associated with clotting disorders that might give you a dvt in your arms or legs.

Exactly. I feel like there’s more to the story if that test was ordered.

So get a portable EKG and tell your nurses that elevated BP vs prior visits or no htn dx, or palps, dizziness, chest pain, arm numbness = EKG. They do it in 2 minutes while you're still with another patient and it's waiting for you when you come in. Efficiency

Me too, sadly. It’s a long story but I was in a bad accident a few years ago where I was pinned against a brick wall and almost was crushed to death. I broke a few ribs and a year or two later I started getting dull achy pains in my left chest area(not sure if related or not)
It seems to originate below my left clavicle. I’ve spent thousands on MRIs, CTs, X Rays and blood work and my heart is very healthy. I’m curious to hear more about Thoracic Outlet as they mimic chest pains.
It’s the oddest thing but my quality of life has gone down and it’s depressing. It just feels like someone is sitting on your chest and you can’t get them off it. I don’t know why those elevated levels would correlate to this but I’m also not sure what it could be

That sounds like it’s been terrible. Did you ever try getting a nerve block of the nerves that run along your ribs?

Don't let not knowing what it is ruin your life. I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 34 years old. I'm 60 now, and I've had some great periods, mixed in with some pretty bad one's in that 26 years. But the worst part of it was the first six months. Not knowing why my glands were swollen, my joints were sore, I had rashes, got fatigued easily, and had pain under my left rib cage was driving me nuts.
An internist, who was the second doctor I went to, told me not to worry about testing positive for Lupus. He wrote "Insignificant" in ink on the 81/2 x 11 full sheet of test results. Said a lot of people do that. He thought I had a kidney infection, and put me on antibiotics. Another one thought I had allergies, so I did all of that testing. The fifth, and last, doctor thought it was all mental with me. She asked if I was depressed. I started crying, and told her yes, and she'd be depressed too, if she'd been sick for six months.
I starting dating a woman who's sister was a nurse two months after the positive test. Looked at some of her books and saw a list of seven symptoms of Lupus. It said if a patient had any five of them over a three month period, they needed to be tested for Lupus. I have five of them the day I read it. I got lucky, and got an appointment two weeks later at Parkland's Lupus Center. They gave me the news, and started treating me.
Once I found out, and got on the right medications, life was much better. Not knowing really was the worst thing I've ever been through.

I’d ask why the they checked that in the first place. One of the biggest mistakes in medicine is ordering unnecessary tests and then getting results nobody really knows what to do with

"a bad sample" is not a good response from a Physician. Have the test repeated in a few weeks. Labs do not just throw out randomn numbers. I can assure you that result was repeated.

Neurologist wanted to check all panels to rule things out including rheumatoid arthritis so I had a bunch of blood work.
He said it looked good except the one auto immune that was high.
I’m going to see a Thoracic outlet specialist in a month. Just not sure I can handle the pain for that long

Any vertebral problems in your neck?

No MRIs in neck were negative. Neck and back look good.
