Because it is illegal to block a roadway. As the guy above said they warned him if he did it again they would arrest him. They arrested him.

I'm sure Trudy White had a $500 sign out bond set up for him before he even made it to the prison.

Don't get me wrong - I was gleeful when he was arrested. But - there was only a minute or so between when he was given that warning and when he was arrested. He was still turned around watching the cop behind him that warned him and he stayed on the shoulder for that short time after the warning. He didn't go back into the street yet when another cop rushed in to arrest him. Guess the 2nd cop didn't know the 1st had warned him with arrest if he did it again?

He was lucky to get a warning. Warnings aren't a requirement. Snatch his narrow arse up and move on to the next.

this is far from over, what is showed, is that the locals are smart enough not to cross that line.

Why don't you come show them how to protest. You DA.

They told him to stay out of street. You can hear in video the girl say the cops even told him he was on notice. So, they even warned him.

It was good to hear his friends so freaked out about his arrest and saying he didn't do anything. Then another friend comes up and says that he was warned. After the arrest They were like; " Call Legal.... Call Legal".

I sort of expected these professional protestors to be educated more on the subjects involved. I guess I was wrong.

The video at the link is just full of fail.

She refers to Open Door Policy of policing which I finally realized is the Broken Windows Theory of policing.

She is massively concerned with the driving habits of the police although they are legally allowed to violate traffic statutes when they have their lights activated.

She seems annoyed that there are as many or more police than protestors. I guess she thinks there should be rules as to how many police are allowed?

Watching that video was a bit disappointing. I expected more anger and less privileged college kid bitching and moaning.

It's really not hard at all. Very much worth it.

It asked for my Twitter account or my phone number, neither of which I want to give to an app I am totally unfamiliar with.

But they aren't mad as hell when they come. But I think it's all overblown. Contrary to popular belief, black people DONT want to go to jail.....

You weren't wrong.

They know the rules.

Up until BR they were allowed to do whatever due to the planned "OK to riot" given from POTUS on down through his ilk that ran Baltimore, Ferguson, etc....

Kip, as I predicted, didn't play these politics. Kip isn't your typical modern-day Democrat that is OK with having his city destroyed to make political points.

I find it interesting such low turnout in the city that sparked it.

maybe, just maybe, a large percentage of the black community doesn't want to be pawns for a for an illegitimate movement.

This is being overstated. He's been arrested before, it's kind of his goal. He gets his picture taken looking like a martyr for the cause, gets his bail raised by donations, donated legal defense and ends up getting out with some minor charge if any. And then he gets to boast about being on the front lines.
