This one is playing out like a Dateline Special. Story starts with the search for 49 year old Garrett Wilson who hadn't been seen since January 24th. His cell phone had been found on the side of the road several days later. Wilson has a sketchy past, he'd previously spent time in prison for his role as the getaway driver in an armed robbery/murder.

This past Wednesday, another Bossier City man, 43 year old John Hardy was reported missing by his family. Hardy is a former Bossier City Police officer who now runs a A/C repair company. One of his business partners in that company....Garrett Wilson. On February 5th, Hardy reported to authorities that $80,000 had been stolen from his business.

Last night, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's office confirmed they had discovered human remains in North Bossier Parish but didn't confirm an identity. This afternoon police announced Hardy had been found, arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder/obstruction of justice.

Smart to dismember but stupid to place them on property connected to you.

Somebody should have watched Dexter before they became a murderer.

What is bizarre about a business owner stealing $80k and getting wacked by his psycho ex-cop business partner?

Bizarre is when a guy with everything going for him up and disappears without a trace and is never heard from again.

I'm not detecting shite, just pointing out that this chain of events is far from bizarre.

This doesn’t sound like a missing persons case to me.

This Wilson dude must have had some serious contacts up high, he did very little time for a multimillion dollar fraud the FBI investigated and before thet very little time for what should have been first degree murder.....

Confirmed? I know that’s the assumption, but I haven’t seen official word yet

Writing seems to be on the wall with this one. Can’t wait to see the dateline on the story though. My question is, If you are a “missing man, a Wanted man” Why in the hell would you stay in the town all this shite is taking place in? Hell he was arrested on Kings Hwy, probably the most over policed area in town at the time bc its near the main strip of the parade route.
Maybe he’s building an I don’t need to run case. Maybe He’s Innocent, but he’s damn sure going to have to prove it now.

I was thinking the same thing as I watch the ID channel tonight. He’s charged with 2nd degree murder and obstruction. It’s got to be for killing Wilson and lying during the investigation. I wonder if the money he reported missing was a ruse to make it seem like Wilson had made off with it to explain his disappearance or if Hardy was using it to get out of town? Also, where’d they find him on Kings? And how’d they ever recognize him with that great disguise?
