Yeah he has life threatening injuries hope he makes it. Son shot too but not as serious.

If correct, story says assailant had already started shooting and the father shot him in response.
Almost goes without saying that I am pulling for this hero to make it. Birmingham is about the best place imaginable to get shot as far as quality of medical care goes, I hope he gets the best.
