No it isn’t. It’s only that much time “present” if you have no idea how to capture your time.

In my little V40 corner of the world, partners aren't expected to bill 2100 hours a year. Only the associates are expected to hit those numbers. While partners tend to be much more efficient they also don't have as much nonbilllable bullshite sucking up their time. In my department if I have partners billing 2100 hours a I am stunned they are billing 8 and a half hours a day and I am looking for overbilling. If I have associates billing 8.5 hours and day and not in the office 10 hours a day I am calling bullshite. I don't pay any attention to what other EP's bill.
