It's dry during the day but that night it rains. And it's not nearly as cold as before so far.

Moisture runs out before freezing temps arrive Christmas morning. Low of 31 Christmas morning but high of low 40s.
No frozen stuff.

So the GFS is suggesting only 4 states will see temps above 40 by noon on the 27th?

ETA: It will be below freezing in every state in the US but Hawaii on 12/28 @ 6AM CST:



Hawaii bottoms out at 39 degrees @ 6AM CST.

This is about what they showed a few days ago. This isn’t the first run that we’ve seen with 24+ hours below freezing

I know but it’s going balls deep into freezing us out for 48 hours now. That would be some record-shattering days.

Just a couple hours ago they were still showing mid 60s on the website. Maybe RG3 will give a bold "no sneaux" prediction again.
