Shiiiiiit, I wish. Doctors just don't make what they used to make. Especially if they stay in academics. We'll be very comfortable though. We should have student loans paid off in three years. After that, I may act a fool.

Actually there is something to this comment in general, not really based on climbing the ladder via sexual favors though...women with careers do have more affairs than those that don't or are stay at home housewives. The reason is most affairs are via those you work with because you spend more time at the office and can open up relationships or on business trips where you meet new people in a sometimes "safe to play" environment. So definitely a double edged sword in about half the cases. And often the more demanding or stressful the career the more likely and more intense of an affair can be especially for the woman.

His wife probably works for an IT firm as an Account Manager. Could be someone like Gartner whose job is to be pretty and make old men think they'll get their dick wet.

One nanny, not very very rich, but well off.
She got her job on her own after college without any help. Went to a recruiting event at her college and got in that way.
She hasn't taken a dime from her parents since high school. Worked her way through college bartending the whole time.
Assumptions and all.
