Don't have a pic, yet. It was trapped at my SOs and haven't been over there.
According to the above link, it is definitely older than 10 weeks.
eta: and I'm assuming it has lived on its own for a while. It could have lived with someone and then been dumped. It was pretty friendly the last time I tried to get it.

feed it tuna and don't force it to let you pet it. If you can get the cat to rub on you it will become tame

cool cat.
yea just be patient with it. not going to be like a dog where you can just spit on the ground and it will come lick it up

just give it space and feed it. They are very peculiar animals. I got a kitten and for the first few days she was so scared of my dog. On the third day i get out of the shower and walk in my bedroom and they are playing together like crazy on my bed. They have literally been best friends since.

Yeah, I mean like I said we already tamed a kitten. But that's a kitten, this is a wild arse cat.

How many cats do you own?
1 indoor cat, a former stray that a neighbor left behind. completely fixed and chipped. apparently, they got a kitten at 3 months old, kept it for 3 months, then left it where it lived outside for 6 months until i took it in. before that, i took care of several feral cats.

detmut, you seem like a cat expert. How old is that bad boy/girl in the pic?

i would say 3-4 months old. hard to say considering there isnt anything for scale in the pic

It's pretty small. And when I tried to catch it before, it let me get extremely close before it ran, so I'm thinking it is already somewhat use to people.

you can't just grab it...build its trust first before trying to hold it

Try to get down to eye level with it. Animals are scared of other animals much taller than them. Spooks them

i'm no expert, especially considering my sister-in-law has a dozen cats and a pet-sitting business, and my brother is a general manager at petco. i'll ask him.
