I've seen the opposite but it hasn't stopped me. Separated over three years ago and in my late 30s to now 40 been dating women in their mid to late 20s. Making decent money, a house, and maturity happen to be a magnet.
The bad part is they want you to be a sugar daddy when you're a Splenda daddy at best. I've had a couple try but I'm not having someone move in any time soon.

Over 30’s gals get angry as frick when you tell them you don’t date over 30, or any age when they have kids.
Single moms have their uses, however. They’re kleenex: use once, then discard. I’ve seen too many guys date a woman with kids, before he knows it, he’s footing all the bills, she’s either not working at all or working and not making much, and the kids, who aren’t his, resent him because he’s not their dad.
