Best way to get rid of some clothes in Baton Rouge

Goodwill or the Salvation Army or something? What's the most philanthropic? Decent clothes btw.

I usually just take them to Goodwill and drop them off. Sometimes I'll box them up and put them in one of the drop-off spots.
I know Goodwill probably isn't the best option, but it's the most convenient.

Give to St Vincent de Paul or The Purple Cow.

I'm no hipster, but I've found some rad shite in Goodwill. I usually go get a red dress there once a year for Nola's Red Dress Run and walk out with a bag full of shite.

I hear ya, I've found some cool stuff I needed last minute at Goodwill. But I'd imagine most folks who get their entire wardrobe there are either a little less fortunate or doing it for the irony/I don't give a frick ness.
That said, I would rather give it to the folks that most need it. But is some homeless dude hanging under the I-10 overpass really wanna be rockin' a long-sleeve button up Banana Republic shirt in June? Most of my stuff is more "dressy" than practical.

Goodwill is never the answer.
Any catholic church has a drop box for the local St Vincent DePaul shelter in their parking lot. Throw the clothes in a garbage bag and drop them in the container.
