so Richard Colton called you yesterday and said bet on my horse ? He is a nice horse out of Calumet Farms with a pedigree to include: AP Indy, Unbridled, Pleasant Colony, Empire Maker.

Where can I find out the odds?

You have to fricking around. You bet on horses days in advance and don't know where to find odds for horse races? I bet you are one of those people who go through tickets on the ground people throw down after a race to see if someone accidently threw away a winner.

Everything I posted was serious and accurate. It was a rush just missing a nice payday on Nervy and not that exciting to watch Luna get bet down to 3-5 odds. Thanks for all the info that you guys provided me.

I’m kind of liking the 6 horse in the 6th race!

very small world. I met him 40 yrs ago and still remember our conversation like it was yesterday. When I was a teenager, I attended a party for a HS friend T. Lykes. Mr. Colton was there since he was family and heir to the Lykes Bros. shipping business. When he asked me about where I had applied for colleges, I mentioned Washing & Lee and Mr. Richard lit up like a Christmas tree. He and other family members graduated from W&L. Mr. Colton said he could help me with a job once I graduated from college. I never appreciated that conversation until later in life when I put 2 and 2 together.

So you got lucky with a dq I see

Hard to say the horse was a sure thing when he didn’t cross the line first.

Lucky? Not hardly. Never knew a horse cheated and finished ahead of him. You seem to know a lot about horses. I don’t know squat but now I want to bet some more.

I’ll have to watch the replay, but he’s definitely not a sure thing winner if he won it like mandaloun

You definitely got lucky. Popular trainer could’ve been what helped the stewards. They are nothing if not inconsistent as hell at fg.

When you watch the races you have to roll up the news paper or some other program thing and slap it on your hip down the stretch like your riding the horse. That's the only way the other degenerates will accept you.

Ok, watched the replay. The winner came out into his path but it looked like the jock on your horse may have slightly overreacted and pulled him out hard. Makes me think of Duke bball. Probably the right call on the stewards to take him down but even if the horse hadn’t gotten out into him, your horse wasn’t going by him at all. Therefore, I stand by my you got lucky comment. You got lucky the 4 veered out so he could come down.

When they let him go the first quarter in 25 he had plenty left in the tank to finish.

Are you hiring? I can do just about anything but nothing perverse. I am disabled and can’t walk very well without my Walker. Please let me know because I need the money. What will I be doing working with you? How much is the pay?
