I just stick with the strongest Halls. I don't know much about any others. Although when I was in grade school I used to bring Ludens because they tasted like candy.

The absolute best over-the-counter sore throat lozenge, bar none, is Spec-T. They used to sell it at Albertson's -- don't know if they still do.

Pick up some vitamin A supplements. Take one now and one before you go to bed, sore throat could be better by the morning.
