Escort or Valentine

Can't go wrong with either but there will be no consensus between owners of the two

Just stay 10 or less above the speed limit and you'll be fine. Plus, it's free.

I used an Escort when I was younger and traveled more for work, dad has a Valentine 1. Both are excellent suggestions

Waze. Or don't go more than 8 over...less if you are in a small town that lives off of ticket revenue.

Do radar detectors even work anymore? I haven't had one since I was in college.

I have a escort, it's hit or miss. But always use Waze.

Valentine One is top of the line. Mine going strong for several years, but unless you combo it with a laser jammer, it's becoming more useless.

BR is starting to shoot a lot of laser. A radar detector is useless against laser. Full laser will never fully take over because they can't shoot it while moving, but it's becoming more popular.

valentine and escort are pretty equal but valentine has the arrows which I love and escort is probably a little more up to date.

until someone puts the arrows I will stick with valentine.

The problem with Waze is that you have to rely on other jack legs to notify you of cops and also say that cops aren't in a spot that they were.

When on long trips, I roll Waze, V1, and a laser jammer. Only instant-on radar fricks me then

Literally, the only times I don't speed are in residential areas/neighborhoods. Everywhere else is however fast I feel like driving (usually 15+ over)

I have had a V1 for 16 years straight. I don't use it at all in New Orleans or Jefferson Parish because they almost never shoot radar and I don't want to hear it going off

You say that... Get a couple tickets and then add in your insurance upping.

The V1 has saved my arse soooo many times. Laser is gonna get me one day though. I thought they got me the other day by Bluebonnet on I10. He was shooting laser. I want a jammer bad, but they good ones run 1k+. Not quite ready to drop that.

Jammers are expensive, but mine has paid for itself two times over. Tickets don't go on any type of record here. I stopped counting how many I had gotten by the time I was like 17, and GEICO hasn't said anything.

Escort redline with the laser jamming leds for your front grill and tag. It's not cheap however.
