Don't use tabs, they're a crutch. Learn by ear. It's slower, but better.

Or YouTube videos.

Privetricker has a ton of videos and he is great, he also tries to play them authenticly how the artist actually played it. Just google whatever song tagged with guitar lesson and you would be surprised what you can find

Tabs are often wrong, and there hasn't been many more uploaded in the past 5 years. Videos will help you learn by ear, as you are essentially learning from watching someone else play. Has made me a much better player

Tab Pro

Is that the one through ultimate gtr?

It's what I use...just remember it's a crap shoot re: accuracy.

I hate the "missing" bars. You can hear it, but the tab bar is empty. I don't understand the deal there.

If you are looking for lessons (like REAL gtr lessons, not how to play song ____) check out Pebber Brown's channel on the tube.

One of the few LEGIT teachers on the tube.

Or Theodore Ziras...eh, Bushmaster?

"And again, for you, at 679,000 BPM. Ready? go!"

Pretty much. Obviously newer songs will prob have tabs, but From what I have found, if a song has a tab or two, you won't find an updated one, even if the existing one sucks.

So you can find them, but my point is that it seems like a practice that has been sort of left behind, as I have not found that tabs have gotten any better/easier to find in the past 5+ years. They are usually time stamped and not many seem to be very updated. I never explored any premium offerings, so perhaps that is truly where to find more recent and accurate tabs.

On the other hand, 5 years ago if you tried to find a video lesson, you would get a fat guy with a ponie tail teaching chord shapes, now you can find nearly any song. So I think the videos have Decreased demand for tabs.

Seriously though, check out that dudes channel from my post above. He probably has every stones song so if you like them, would be a good place to start. He prob has 150+ vids at this point and they are all good.
