Margaritaville is very nice. One of them has a nightclub in it thats a good time if you're into that type of stuff.

Best floors at Margaritaville and El Dorado. By far.
Horseshoe has decent entertainment, but their gambling flooris no better than Boomtown or Sam's Town.

El Dorado and Horeshoe both have poker. I prefer El Dorado because they a night club with a live band most nights. Eldorado is also in walking distances to other casinos and bars.

The horseshoe boat is trash. It’s so fricking small and obvious you’re on a boat. 
Eldorado is huge and way nicer. And I do like the fact that I can walk to other stuff and I’m not stuck in a crap part of bossier.

Don't leave the casino. If you have friends in Shreveport they will more than likely try to convince you to go to the Steak house for drinks since apparently that's the only place in Shreveport to drink. The cities night life is terrible.

I live in Houston now and I can say without hesitation Shreveport night life sucks.
ETA: I think the going to the steak house was more of convenience thing since Shreveport didn't get uber till, what less than a year ago? Also I am not comparing it to Houston I thought it sucked before I even moved to a bigger city.

Well sure, if you compare it to a top 5 population city.
Shreveport doesn’t have world class night life, but it has a bunch of great spots. You just have the kind of friends who want to go to steakhouse and act important.

Like I said I believe it was more of a convenience of location since they just recently got a form of reliable transportation.
