These are the speakers Henry Rollins has in his living room and talks about on Rogan's podcast of anyone listened to that episode.

Rollins has a pair of the Wilson Alexandrias ($225k), not these. This speaker was just introduced about 6 months ago, and I believe only about 20 pair are being produced with a pre-order and down payment.

I meant the brand Wilson, sorry. Not these exact models.

I would love to hear them once in my life.

The Focal Grand Utopia bests it for 1/3 the cost.

The incremental gain from whatever they're calling the Watt/Puppy Combo (too lazy to see if it's the Sophia or the Sasha) is not worth the price.

Wilson usually shows at all the major trade shows. CES and Apoxna are two of the best.

When I auditioned them, I was not impressed. I decided to go with the Focal - JM Labs Grande Utopias...about 1/3 of the price and much richer sound. I guess I'm not an OT baller.
Grande Utopias

eta I agree with Marco Esquandolas

I think this is supposed to be Dave Wilsons last "harrah."

Hope I'm wrong but you know how cancer can be.

Nice Korean amps but a very poor choice for the Wilsons. The Wilsons need a good bit of power and present a heck of a load, 3 ohm nominal with a sub 2 ohm minimus.

While there are a ton of amps that would work well if I had that kind of money I would probably get Boulder, D Agostino or Nagra but whatever the choice it would be solid state.

Nice, but it'd be cheaper just to have your own private orchestra.

If you figure out how to get Hendrix to riff in my house, even for $1 million let me know.

I don't know how, but have some psychic friends working on it. I'll let you know if it all works out.
