I've been in traffic stops that would have turned into arrests. The reason they didn't is because I always treat police like I am talking to Jesus himself.
Nothing you can do once they stop you but be nice. Non-compliance never gets you anywhere.
I will tell them they cannot search and if they ask if I have a gun, I tell them I "have a right to carry a gun in my truck and I will not remove it"

100% agree. You know when someone needs to be shot vs someone who needs their arse beat. You cannot just say "hm there is a resonable threat this guy is going to punch me in the face again, im just going to put one in his dome."

Police are always so nice to me IRL. It's weird I'm anti-cop online for these things, but in reality I give discounts to police, have white shirts for customers, and even have done work inside the KPD station and a JP substation. I always make eye contact and smile a little. I do the "Texas wave" when coming at them on a two way road. I keep all my lights working and everything up to date. I speed like a banshee on the interstate, but don't do a mile over on surface streets.
It's so easy to stay on their good side. But I do think some act out wrongly and now at least it's caught on tap.
Now this situation here, I remember how them bad arse kids were in high school. I think the kid deserved a little whipping, but maybe the second throw was a little much.

It's funny to me, the general consensus on the OT is two grown men fighting is super trashy, but one grown man shooting the other in lieu of fighting is okay.
