I was in Key West with my wife years ago and we were staying at a hotel across the street from Hemingway's home. We were looking at the house and I said, "What would make a man like Hemingway kill himself. He was a famous and successful author, wealthy, fished all over the world, women wanted him and men wanted to be him. He had everything." She says, "Depression. All those things don't matter when you're depressed."

Wish you the best in dealing with this.

from that point on, I started getting the same symptoms that you described (sweating, racing heart, medical paranoia, etc).. I’ve been told over the years that I had depression, panic attacks, etc
I've had the same problems my whole life and they've been getting worse and worse, to the point that I put off having an in-grown toenail removed for over 3 months because I was scared to have the area numbed since I assumed I would pass out.
I used to not be afraid to give blood or get shots, now they give me panic attacks. I'm afraid to take any medicine that could make me drowsy or dizzy and basically just stick to Tylenol, pepto, tums, and dayquil.

Damn, just when I started liking you you pick up and leave. WTF Holmes? You get better. You should take your anger out on your father in law. Maybe shite on his front porch. I’m sure that’ll make you feel better.

That sucks man, I feel your pain.
I don’t have ‘triggers’ like you do though. Mine revolve more around being in situations and places that I’m unfamiliar with. I had my worst attack in the middle of a packed champions square. Turned white as a ghost and thought I was going to pass out. Luckily for me, I had a buddy of mine who knows and understands what I deal with so I was able to get to a place to sit, and calmed down. After about 3 minutes, I was good to go and was laughing about it... it’s really fricking strange man, I can’t really explain it

I was on medication for about a year to help curb the attacks, but I really don’t like being on prescription drugs so I’ve chosen to fight this shite by myself.
Thats me as well, the Dr told my wife and I of the side effects of the drugs to curb the attacks and my wife says NO, dont do that. Pretty much you become an emotionless shell of a person. So, handling it myself, I try to stay active and do things that relaxes me.
Youre not alone man

Sometimes I'm happy I'm too stupid to be depressed about things

Tyga I’m so sorry you’re going through these troubles and hope to see you here again one day but for now take care of yourself and your family. Many prayers and good vibes for you. Good luck!

Bipolar is a bitch. My wife and two deceased sons had it. If meds are prescribe take them regularly. Your family has to adjust. Life is not perfect. Tell them to go to another room if they cannot make you understand what an a hole you can be. Times you feel you are correct. You are not correct ALL of the time. Love and understand can concor all. Good luck. Support is all around you. Hear what they are saying.

I had a therapist try to put me on pills as a child, but I refused. My mom tried to force me to take them, but I wouldn't allow it. I saw how kids on similar pills reacted to them and it scared the crap out of me. Still does, even more so now, tbh. Weed doesn't scare me, but I definitely get nervous with alcohol as soon as I get dizzy.

Its scary shite, especially the first time it happens. I thought I was fkn dying. Your body starts sweating, heart racing, my left side went numb. I honestly thought I was gonna have a heart attack and die right there
These are awful. A comedian said "You feel like you're gonna die, but everyone else knows you won't, so no one cares."

The only weak people are those who don't seek help for a mental injury. Congrats on getting help. You're going to be fine now.
