All I read is, my girl was stolen by a Marine. Now I have a vendetta. It's gonna be fine I promise. America doesn't need a Marine Corps but the want us, for one reason. We are the finest fighting force top to bottom in the world. There is a reason we are the POTUS' fighting force and do his flying in a rotary. We also are with the Dept. Of State to protect Embassies, not the Army. Everyone trusts a Marine to keep them safe as opposed to a Soldier.
Edit: so please keep going us that RAH RAH soldier BS we always hear. I've heard it all, as well as many soldiers say, "I'd have joined the Marine Corps but,...."

Oh boohoo, we pride ourselves in being the finest fighting force out there. To be a Marine, you have to be a cocky SOB. You are just a salty little girl who still thinks we are fodder.
We do more than the Army, which less funding, manpower and outdated equipment.

I've only worked around marines once. They would bark at us in the chow hall. They were a reserve air traffic control unit.

I'm out now but doubt it. Save that every marine is infantry shite for the recruiter. I got nothing against the marines though. It's a fine force. We all have our pog's.

Never under estimate your non infantry Marine. The average Marine can out shoot almost 70% of soliers.

Just a heads up. All Marines are 0311 which is a rifleman first before any other job.

Negative, with all the cool bases overseas can't give that to coasties.
Probably Air Force on that.
My wife is coastie and we can co locate at most of the nicer spots.
Tampa/Boston/Hawaii/Alaska no co lo but bases for both
