I just said that they weren't? This isn't a topic about them. This is about Putin being a cocksucker. It's been well established that Hillary and Comey are also cocksuckers.

In your rush to defend Putin you are calling me a hypocrite and deluded. It seems you are being the hypocrite.

Are you suggesting Putin ordered the shoot down of a civilian airliner? Because there is literally not a shred of evidence that would support that.

I'm suggesting that it is not something he'd think twice about doing, it happened over territory he was occupying, and happened with a Russian missile.

No, but I am suggesting the Putin was the architect of a plan to invade and annex a sovereign nation. That plan led to the loss of 280+ innocent lives. Don't forget about the innocent Ukrainian lives that have been lost as well.

Your thinking is grossly simplistic. I need not got into the history of Crimea and the fundamenatl nature of territorial disputes in this part of the world in general. But the issue over annexation is being used as a sidebar distraction for the subject at hand, which was the shoot down of the airliner and the insinuation that Putin was callously behind it.

Simply put, he is, whether you like him or not. Putin enjoys tremendous support in Russia, partially because he is the first post-Cold War Russian leader to reassert their influence and challenge anti-Russian rhetoric and Western strategic posturing against Russia. Regardless, he is Russia's leader and he's a rational actor therefore the next U.S. president ought to have a functional relationship with him. Making him out to be some Hitlerian bogeyman isn't accurate or beneficial to bettering U.S./Russian relations.

Yes, you said they weren't beyond reproach. They are. Hell, y'all are trying to elect one of them to the presidency.

I'm not defending Putin. I'm calling you a hypocrite for defending and supporting corruption in our own government while screaming about tyrants across the world.

Trump and HRC are the actual cocksuckers we have to deal with.

I don't give a rat's arse about Putin.

Keep up.

I have not defended or supported corruption in our government. Where are you getting that?

Because I don't like Trump or Putin does not mean that I like Clinton or the current state of our government or leadership.

Keep up.

Still boggles the mind how they didn't think to consider that the flight path was taking them right over an active warzone.

Planes fly over active war zones all the time ie Afghanistan. At the time, they didn't think/know the rebels had surface to air missiles with this capability, and they only got that capability recently before this flight.

As I understand it, the rebels thought this was a military craft that they previously couldn't attack until they had this launcher, so of course they fricked upusing it.

That is definitely what the Russian media reported.

I think it's far more likely than Putin downing a civilian aircraft for no known reason.

Outside some high value target that there is no evidence of, not to mention you could kill that target a lot easier than downing a jumbo jet and the fallout from that, I think it's the most obvious answer.

You remind me of the SJW hags that post on facebook.

In 1988, the US shot down an Iranian Airliner. This shite happens, as sad as it may be.

The "shite happens" excuse is bullshite. This shite doesn't happen if Putin doesn't plan to invade and annex a sovereign nation.

People defending the actions of Russia in Ukraine makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This presidential election has made people insane.

The Ukraine was part of the USSR for decades, I really don't care what Russia does with it's former satellite States.

We've bombed 7 different nations in the past 8 years and people really don't seem to care.

It is, but its not as unlikely as most think. He wouldn't hesitate if he wanted someone dead on that aircraft.

There are lots of high value targets there is no evidence of all over the world.

Like poisoning them with Ricin or Polonium on a public subway in another country?

ETA:

I'm not saying this for sure happened, but people writing it off as "impossible" or saying things like "no way thats what happened" are out of their damn mind.

Its more likely it was an accident, yes, but its absolutely in the realm of realistic possibilities that it was intentional.

It has nothing to do with this presidential election. For paleoconservatives and those others who recognize and comprehend the impartial, non-rhetoric driven view of geopolitics, it's simply consistent logic. It's only been recently been made political to try and attach Trump to a perceived foreign "enemy." The political spin on Russia and Putin is clearly coming from one particular faction. My position on Russia and Putin has been consistent since long before presidential campaigns started up this cycle.

But I do generally agree with your assertion, just not from the same perspective obviously. Personally I find it quite amusing that Romney was lambasted for labeling Russia as our primary geopolitical rival by the left and now they are blasting Trump for seeking amicable relations and Hillary is playing the hawk.

You mean Crimea? The territory in which the people who occupy there want to be part of the Russian federation.

I seriously doubt Putin ordered that plane to be shot down because there may be one or two people on it that he wanted dead.

These people fail to understand the nuances of political nationalism whatsoever. Their worldview is based on isolated ideological relativism. They are, American liberals, afterall.

I mean, shite happened when the CIA threw out the elected President of Ukraine...stirring all this crap up in the first place.

The principal point is, the shoot down was most certainly an error due to fog of war carried out by pro-Russian rebels supplied with Russian tech. The shoot down was a major international disaster for Russia and the rebels, not some contrived murder of innocents on an airliner.
