For those of you outside of Texas, here is a broader synopsis of the major issues plaguing Baylor: Article
ETA: Cliffs - 52 alleged rapes by 31 football players including multiple gang rapes, with victims systemically shamed and ignored w/ lack of local law enforcement or local media interest.
Quote from article:
But the farther they strayed into the darkness, the more she argued that her friends were back at the party, and that they should return. Without a word, she later said in a lawsuit, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound linebacker picked up the 5-3 freshman and made his violent intentions clear.
Panicking, Ms. Hernandez told him that she was sorry if she gave him the wrong impression; that they should just go back to the house and forget this ever happened; that she was, in fact, gay. He acted as though he did not hear.
When Mr. Elliott finished raping her behind a secluded shed, an angry Ms. Hernandez used an expletive in demanding her shirt back. “He tossed it over to me,” she later recalled. “And that was the end of the interaction.”

Baylor is the scum of scum, they should get the football death penalty but won't because there's too much money involved

Pretty sure Tevin Elliot got like 20 years for that rape.
This wasn't a drunk co-ed giving questionable consent rape. This was "I'm going to frick you til you love me, fgt" rape.

It truly is stunning that SMU can get the death penalty for paying players, which is all in all a harmless deed when compared to systematic rape and rape cover up. What little respect I had for the NCAA before has been been totally lost with this shite storm they just continue to ignore.

I think NCAA is staying as far away as they can, learned their lessons with the Sandusky situation.
Let the courts and Baylor handle it.
I could see NCAA coming in much later in this case.

A particularly notorious allegation in the lawsuit is that Kendal Briles, a former assistant coach and Art Briles’s son, enticed one recruit by saying: “Do you like white women? Because we have a lot of them at Baylor and they LOVE football players.”
Oh lawd

Does anyone else think it ironic that the chancellor at the time of this sex scandal was the same Kenneth Star who investigated Bill Clinton's sexcapades?!

A ton of money will be flowing out to settle these cases, will it be enough to keep all of the sordid details from getting out?

old piss is a tpos program, and deserve their impending demise, BUT baylor deserves that and so much more. they are the absolute worst of the worst, especially when you take into consideration their basketball program travesty from not too long ago. seems like they embody lack of institutional control
i don't know how the ncaa isn't involved in the baylor situation.
For those that might not remember...Baylor Basketball - Disgraced

Seems legit. But after Duke lacrosse and that bullshite Rolling Stone piece at UVA I'm not sure what to make of these special reports.
