Are the cops around there really that crooked?. After watching “murder in the bayou” there is no doubt in my mind that the cops had everything to do with the Jennings 8. With all of the missing evidence and one of the main suspected officers in charge of the evidence lockup it has to be all related.

I'd say the Jennings 8 had everything to do with the Jennings 8, considering they were the ones who put themselves in the situation(s) that got them killed.
That series is about 3 episodes too long and way to sympathetic to a bunch of crack whores who managed to piss off the cops, their connects, or Frankie Richard. OR all 3.
don't suck dick for drugs and get involved with trashy people and you probably wont end up dead in a ditch.

That police officer who had the wife that would go pick up the crack whores and bring them back to his trailer with the room that was lined in plastic sheeting has everything to do with this.

I didn’t think the sheriff was crooked until they talked about the 20/20 or Primetime live episodes that caught his officers pulling over out of state cars on the interstate for no reason. And all he could say is that they are trying to win the war in on drugs
