On rare occasions it would be better if you didn't have a masturbating duck avi.

Katie Keough, a 20-year-old woman visiting from Baton Rouge, was struck and killed on the railroad track at 10th Avenue and 14th Street behind the University of Alabama’s Tutwiler dorm around 11:30 p.m., according to Tuscaloosa Fire Marshal Gene Holcomb.

Horrible to hear. We'll keep her family in our prayers.

i dont know how people lived in apartments with this train in their back yard about 15 yards away.

Hard to believe but you get used to it. Always enjoyed my SO bitching about the train when I'd wake up from a full nights rest.

It is so easy to avoid walking into a train. She was probably texting and drunk. I feel sorry for the train operator.

Me too. I doubt there's anything he could do, even though the trains move through there pretty slowly. Also, there's a really large flashing and beeping crossing signal where they crossed.

It honestly sounds like they were drunk and felt invincible trying to beat the train.

Man that sucks. But trains are pretty slow, very big, have lights on the locomotive, and make lots of noise at crossings. These accidents are almost always avoidable.

While I have to agree with most of this, the trains that run by our facility fly through every day. Granted you can hear them but with thr way people are glued to their phones 24/7, I could see how she probably didnt see it (if thats the case here).
