That says it all really. The reason we point out problems and issues with the 'Culture' of this city is because someone knew he was robbing stores and said nothing. It escalated into murder. Broome and her gang of thugs will only bring about more of the same behavior because it is never about doing the right thing and always about poor me and look at how we are held back. The only thing holding these kids back is these 'leaders' telling them they are owed something so they go out and take it. Hard work is never brought up. Accountability is never brought up. We all suffer because of it.

And I will add to Mr. Hangover's excellent summary that all of the incompetent leadership originating from the office of mayor-president is perpetuating the problem by constantly stoking the fire on racial inequality. The Alton Sterling incident is living proof of what the Rev. Al Sharpton wannabes want to happen to our city by doing what they are doing. Meanwhile, as Speedy has pointed out in other threads, black on black crime continues but is met with silence by their side.

Please oh please tell us how you know that. I am certainly going to blame him. But we don't know enough about the family. Nearest there is a family history of criminal behavior and drugs then yes. But if it's a single mom raising four kids and trying to keep them in line and one of them gets in with the wrong crowd and has a history of being arrested and spending no time in jail, then no.
I have seen more than enough families that fit both scenarios above.
