I agree with you and the beer Jeep. Save more and am mart sammiches are giant and/or cheap, and filling. But I agree with you they are absolutely not on par with any real restaurant in the area.

If people think that Sammy's costs too much, they must be eating fast food and short order places every day. If you're going into some semantics like cpt Bengal is doing, no point in having a convo

Example: last weekend i paid 40 dollars for a steak tar tar that was absolutely divine. it was worth every fricking penny.
Example: paying 15 dollars for a poboy with 6 shrimp is overpriced. paying 15 dollars for a poboy with 10-12 shrimp is NOT overpriced.

I just said the crawfish is expensive moreso than a lot (not all) places in BR. I understand they can sell them for what they do, so it's smart on their part. As far as the rest of the food goes, I think it's moderately and comparatively priced, but not very good outside of maybe a few items.

And yeah, I'm indifferent to Sammys. It's good n all, but when I lived in the area food was the last thing I spent money on.
They've gotten super popular and have raised their prices to reflect that. Can't hate on them for it, but they do need to put more shrimp on their poboys

I don't like breakfast foods. I'm not going to say that waffle house is overpriced though because of that.

Not sure if it's the same guy, but there's a regular there that may be a judge that is a complete a-hole to the staff and customers about "his seat" at the bar. I've been asked to move from that seat before like he owns it. If it's not him, I apologize.
