I got ya. Barry Seal is an interesting character. My family is very close to BR aviation since the late 50's and the Seal stories if half true are pretty unbelievable.

How was Louis Unglesby not been mentioned yet? He represented Barry and called a # that Barry had. George Bush Sr. answered immediately and confirmed for Unglesby it was himself.

I believe his widow still lives in the area. She graduated with my wife. I saw her on weekends on a few occasions. She was always "guarded" by a skinny dude and a larger guy. The big guy may have been Barry's brother and as I look back I'm inclined to believe she was marked for Barry at an early age.

Barry Seal's lawyer, still a well-known lawyer in BR, seemed to think that the bush family was directly involved in this whole thing. It's a fascinating story, really.

Well someone said Jeb and George W were loading the plane. Guess that was their summer job.
If I remember correctly he lived in Lake Sherwood during this time.
Also there was a landing strip around White Castle in a cane field. Pilot/farmer there served a bit of time as well.
