I'm thinking a job and a beat up truck would be a better idea. At 16

Those icons are hand built and are like $90k a pop. Check out their website icon4x4.

Also had one of their derelict cars on Jay Lenos Garage.

Oh yeah, it doesn't get much better than that. That is one fine car.

I had a CJ5 and it was a good vehicle, but with kids coming along, I needed something else. There is so much you can add to those now and make it anything you want.

A good friend of mine little brother went to work for Mr H starting at the bottom and has worked his way up the ladder in that organization. Said you will not find a better man to work for.

Mine were secondary vehicles. Sold one for a few extra $$s to buy my first house; then sold the second one to buy furniture for our next house.

NillaWafer is 11mos old so I don't see me getting another for a while.

Kids do tend to rearrange our priorities. Hug them now, they grow up really fast.

Oh yeah, the 68/69 Charger was one of my fantasy vehicles growing up.

He was kinda tall, maybe 6"2, with a slight but still noticeable southern accent and was lean. His face was narrow, clean shaven, he was wearing a black hat, a black jacket that was like a thin golf jacket and he either had black or dark gray pants. If I had to guess his age I would say around 60 but he looked fit and even with the jacket and hat he looked distinguished so it was hard to really tell for sure.

Didn't get to watch nearly as much as I hoped, but I was super productive around the house so I'll take it.

Plus, the sold sticker brawds pants were even tighter today. That was a nice surprise.

I'm sure they upped her day rate with the positive feedback.

I'll be watching tomorrow. Iirc, the Salon selection started around 4pm central last year. If so, I should get about 3 or so hours of the good cars

Went last night and the weather was miserable with the same today. Was speaking with the GM of Barett-Jackson last night and he said yesterday alone attendance was down 20k for the day from last year on Friday, at $60 per ticket that's $1.2 million and that doesn't include merchandise and food & beverage sales. He said there would be hell to pay in the evening wrap-up meeting with his boss. It's unbelievable how huge this event is and the money it brings in for Scottsdale.

anyone know about what a 1967 Mustang GTA convertible is worth?

I had one in High School and sold it, and it's the one car sale I regret. I thought I did great almost doubling my money. It was $2700 in 1996 for it, sold it on 1998 for $5000.
Drover great, had new interior and top. I see these Pony cars take this top dollar and wonder how stupid I was for not holding on to that car. Also sucked that the next year Gone in 60 Seconds came out and 1967 Mustangs were in incredibly high demand for Eleanor kits.

I'm getting ready right now to go today. Shouldn't be much rain until later tonight I'm hoping. Sun is shining brightly where I am at right now though. Feel bad for people that traveled to this thinking "yay I'm gonna enjoy some warm Arizona sunshine while at this event".

I have wondered how all the rain affects the auction. How many people do they have to hire to quickly dry off the cars as they come from out the other tents, into the rain, and then into the main auction tent?

Hard to give a answer without actually seeing it. And, with a car like this, documentation is just as important as condition and will greatly determine the value. For a nice driver, you could expect anywhere between 35 & low 40's.
