and the pussification continues, had a prof at LSU, class began at nine, he said on day one, anyone that met him in the student union before class and bought him a beer gets an A, bar opened at 8am, next morning(before the next class,) the place was packed

From what I've heard, this wasn't the sole issue with this prof, but I have no other info.
Also, the article said the kid wasn't a University student, which begs the question of why he was in that lecture hall, and immediately went to sit down after shotgunning that "beer".
